Our Properties

This Italianate home was built in 1868 for Mr. Ralph Smith. In 1883, it was sold to the Hall Family of 303 W. Church Street, who rented out the house until 1907, when the house was sold to the Petrie Family, who owned the home until 1989. Charles Petrie was a coal dealer on E. Washington Avenue in Elmira from 1890 to the 1940's. His widow, Frances Wheadon Darby Petrie, died in 1975 at the age of 104. After her death, the house was occupied by Frederick Darby Petrie, an architect specializing in churches.

When we purchased this property in 2012, it had been vacant for some time, and we promptly turned it into a showcase property. The first floor features a spacious luxury 1 bedroom apartment, with a designer kitchen, large Butler's Pantry, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a fireplace. The second floor is home to three of our premier Airbnb rentals. Rent in this fabulous Italianate includes ALL utilities!
