This house was built in 1880 for Alonzo Tobey. His occupations included fireman, teller-man for the Hook and Ladder Co., and driver for the Elmira Fire Department. He occupied the house until 1926 and in 1935, the house was converted into three apartments; a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom.

We purchased this property in 2009, and it features new laminate floors, new kitchens and bathrooms, and restored hardwood floors on the second floor as well as an upper porch. All utilities are included in this building's rent!
